First of all, let's look at the history of this iWatch.

The Apple Watch Series 8 is the ninth generation of the Apple Watch model. Presented for the first time in Apple's keynote of September 7, 2022. This new version of the connected watch has a skin temperature sensor associated with an ambient temperature sensor which allows menstrual monitoring.

Battery life didn't budge around 18 hours between charging with sleep tracking overnight and screen on all the time during the day.

Apple Watch Series 8 is the first Apple Watch with an accelerometer that can detect car crashes. It is also capable of measuring forces up to 256 g.

The 8 series are all equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 which offers improvements in terms of reliability and energy efficiency. Regarding the software part, the Apple watch embeds watch OS 9 which offers new dials (Lunar and Metropolitan) as well as the entire collection of Nike dials.
